St. Olaf’s student chapter of ACDA is back and stronger than ever after a tough two year reprieve. This year’s vision for St. Olaf ACDA has been focused on community, both within the program and in Minnesota. Community building activities included one-on-one meals between grade levels, attending the state conference, and regular meetings.
Now with a firm foundation, the executive board is excited for the spring semester focusing on developing culturally responsive music education through panels and partnering with the Minnesota State Academy for the Blind. The St. Olaf ACDA is organized by executive members Josie Lynn (President), Jack Slavik (Vice President), Emma Silvestri (Secretary), Abigail Davis (Treasurer), and Emma Auby (Outreach Coordinator) along with faculty advisors Dr. Therees Hibbard and Dr. Anton Armstrong.
ACDA at St. Olaf is excited to become more active with ACDA-MN in the coming semester. Follow @stolaf_acda on Instagram or like St. Olaf ACDA Student Chapter on Facebook for more information!
