Sonia Esch — STAR PROGRAM — CHILDREN & YOUTH

Sonia Esch is currently in her 20th year of teaching in the Stillwater Independent School District #834, the past 9 years spent at Rutherford Elementary School. She graduated from St. Olaf College with a BA in Music Education in 1978 and has taught K-6 elementary music for 3 years in Kenyon, 5 years in Waconia, and 2 years at Forest Lake elementary schools. Sonia lives in Stillwater, Mn with her husband, Bill. She has 2 children, Kirsti and Will. She is a long standing member of ACDA, OAKE and NAfME. Sonia has directed children’s choirs at Trinity Lutheran Church in Stillwater, Mn for over 20 years.
