Lee Charles Fuch

May 10, 1961 – December 30, 2017

Lee Charles Fuchs, age 56 of Plymouth. Surrounded by family and close friends, Lee passed away peacefully on December 30 after suffering a severe heart attack earlier in the day. Lee was a fabulous person who will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Lee was born on May 10, 1961 in Jamestown, ND. He graduated from Wahpeton Senior High School in Wahpeton, ND in 1979. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in voice from Minnesota State University Moorhead, and a Master’s degree in opera performance from the University of Colorado Boulder. Lee served joyfully for three decades as the director of the Canticle Choir at Lord of Life Lutheran Church in Maple Grove, MN. For years he directed the music for the fall musical at Centennial High School in Circle Pines, MN. He loved working with the students there. Lee had a generous heart, he was a fantastic cook, he loved to laugh and tell stories, he loved opera, he loved the beach in Puerto Vallarta, and he adored his family and friends.

Survivors include, his daughter Erin, mother Patricia, sister Susan, and brothers Jay and Lance. Lee was preceded in death by his father Milton, and sister Carmen. Lee loved and was loved by all of his nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, as well as his cherished close friends.
