Olson, Gordon W. 80, of Golden Valley, MN went to heaven on May 8, 2017 surrounded by family. Gordon is survived by his wife of 58 yrs., Mary, 4 children, Laurie (Tom) Rejzer, Linda (John) McDonough, Diane (Dan) Hinderaker and Erik (Susan) Olson, 9 grandsons, 2 sisters and 2 brothers. Preceeded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Alice Olson and his brother David Olson. Gordy was born 9/18/1936 in Brantford ND. He held several positions in Lutheran church music directing and as the Director of Music for Augsburg Publishing House. He was an active singer, singing in many well known Twin Cities professional groups. Funeral service Tuesday May 16, 2017 11:00 a.m. at Central Lutheran Church, 333 South 12th Street.
