RECENT SCHOLARSHIP and GRANTS
Recent grants were awarded to these five choral organizations to reimburse travel expenses to perform at the annual ACDA-MN State Conference.
Angelica Cantanti Youth Choirs, Elizabeth Egger, conductor
CoMUSICation – Carey Shunskis, conductor
Concordia College Vocal Jazz – Wyatt Steinke, conductor
East Central Minnesota Chorale, Charles Moe, conductor
Minnesota Valley Women’s Chorale, Judy Sagen, conductor
In addition, a $2,000 grant was awarded to the Affinity High School Honor Choir project.
Scholarships have been awarded to these ACDA-MN members to attend the ACDA National Conference in Cincinnati OH, February 22-25:
Christiana Howell, graduate student, University of Minnesota-Twin Cities
Matt Kiminski, Becker Middle School
Ben Wegner, graduate student, University of Minnesota-Twin Cities
Upcoming 2023 scholarships will be awarded to students in the 9-10, 7-8, and 4-5-6 honor choir programs, along with the Next Direction HS Student Leadership Conference, and graduate studies. Graduate studies, along with the Alice T. Larsen scholarship application is due April 1.
