About Zack Carlson

Zack Carlson is the Vocal Music Director at Buffalo High School where he leads all curricular and extracurricular choirs, directs annual musicals, and teaches Unified Music. Buffalo High School Concert Choir was selected to perform at the Minnesota Music Educators Midwinter Clinic in February 2020 and enjoys a busy collaborative schedule with high school, collegiate, and professional choirs across the region. Carlson has been an active singer across the state with The Singers-Minnesota Choral Artists, the National Lutheran Choir, Twin Ports Choral Project, and impulse. In 2020, he presented sessions at both State and Regional ACDA Conferences with a focus on new and early career choral directors. Carlson studied Vocal Music Education at the University of Minnesota-Duluth and earned a Master’s of Music in Music Education at Michigan State University.
