About Randy Schafer
Randy Schafer began teaching as a choral conductor at EHS in 1996. Schafer is the conductor for the Cavaliers, the Women's Chorale, and the Concert Choir. In addition to his choral ensembles, Mr. Schafer teaches voice and has offered independent studies in music theory, music technology, and composition. His co-curricular responsibilities
include conducting the a cappella group, VOX and a vocal jazz ensemble called B-Natural. Schafer has worked extensively in musical theatre and does vocal direction for ENCORE! Randy Schafer has completed doctoral course work in Vocal Performance/Vocal Pedagogy and Choral Conducting at the University of Northern Colorado where he also earned a Masters of Music degree in Vocal Performance. He completed his Bachelor of Science (Teaching) degree at Minnesota State University at Mankato in Music Education - Vocal/Choral. Randy's professional performance experience includes musical theatre, opera, and oratorio. He works as a soloist and is also a private voice teacher.
