About Alexandra Thrasher
Zan Thrasher is in her ninth year of teaching and currently directs the 6th-12th grade choirs at Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted. She has taught at the elementary, middle, and high school level, and she feels that her biggest strength is teaching middle level choirs. Zan received her Bachelors of Music degree from Concordia College in Moorhead, MN and her Masters degree in music education from Michigan State University. In addition to this, she has her 200 hour yoga certification and teaches one yoga class a week in Hutchinson, MN at Genesis Ensospa Salon. Zan lives in Hutchinson with her husband, Nate Raabe, who is also a choir director. Zan and Nate met at ACDA’s Summer Dialogue at St. John’s University in 2012, and they were married 4 years later!
