Michael is a '97 graduate of Concordia College and has been teaching for 16 years. His first three years were spent teaching in an English immersion school in Taichung, Taiwan. During that time, he also traveled extensively throughout SE Asia. After teaching abroad, he returned to the U.S. in 2005 and taught middle school choir in Becker, MN. He was lucky to work with a fun and knowledgeable group of music teachers, and was also able to also work with the high school choirs during his tenure. In 2009, Michael moved on to his current teaching position in Annandale, MN where he teaches grades 7 through 12. He has an amazing and supportive wife who is also a teacher in the Annandale School District. They have three spunky girls ages 7, 5, and 4.
